Our busy podiatry office in Shillington is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team! This position involves scheduling surgeries and obtaining prior authorizations. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule surgeries and coordinate with providers and surgical facilities
  • Obtain prior authorizations from insurance companies
  • Communicate professionally with patients regarding surgery dates and instructions
  • Verify insurance benefits and ensure required documentation is complete
  • Maintain accurate patient records and follow up on pending authorizations
  • Assist with other administrative or scheduling tasks as needed
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical and administrative team

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Professional communication with patients, providers, and insurance companies
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process medical claims for insurance reimbursement
  • Submit and follow up on claims with insurance companies
  • Post payments and reconcile accounts
  • Review and resolve denied or rejected claims
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits
  • Maintain accurate billing records and patient accounts

Qualifications:
