We are a busy podiatry office seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate must be available to work some evenings, but no weekends. We are willing to train the right individual, so experience is not required—just a willingness to learn and a positive attitude!
Responsibilities:
- Assist the podiatrist with patient care and procedures
- Take patient vitals and medical histories
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize instruments
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records
- Educate patients on foot care and treatment plans
- Handle administrative tasks, such as insurance verification and billing assistance
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A friendly and professional demeanor
- Willingness to learn and be trained in medical assisting tasks
- Prior medical office experience is a plus but not required
